The Problem
70% of plant-based active ingredients are NOT effectively absorbable by the human body.
Most active ingredients reach the human body with less than 1% efficiency due to low solubility.
There are two main issues with natural ingredients: the plant-derived molecules cannot be absorbed in the intestine because they are both hydrophobic and have a crystalline structure.
Dual Coating
To address both the problems of hydrophobicity and crystallinity in natural ingredients, the OPTISOLV® Technology features a double coating.
Ingredient
Plant compount, e.g. Curcumin, Boswellia, Berberine or Passiflora
First Coating
Made out of ring-shaped starch (cyclodextrins), which can encapsulate hydrophobic molecules, making them more hydrophilic.
Second Coating
Consisting of sunflower lecithin and starch, stabilizing the complex in a low-crystallinity state for maximum release and solubility
